I wonder if the Catamaran Jaguar 36 and if it's making a bit of a comeback. For years it felt like everyone was chasing newer designs or jumping to bigger boats, but I still keep seeing C36s getting refit, popping up in marinas, and even featured in cruising blogs.

I would not call it a "comeback" but rather a reflection of current market realities. Used catamaran prices have increased significantly, making older boats like the Jaguar 36 among the few options for those on a tighter budget. These boats often need extensive refitting to be cruise ready and present challenges such as low bridge deck clearance. So while some may cite the design, most people are likely choosing these vessels because they are the most affordable way to enter the catamaran market. What appears to be renewed popularity is really people adapting to economic constraints in order to get on the water.
