My wife and I are new owners of a 2018 Lagoon 42 and are starting to plan for our first haul out for bottom paint. We are quickly learning that the boat's wide beam makes finding a boatyard more complicated than it was with our old monohull. We are located in the Pacific Northwest. How do you all find yards that are capable of lifting a wider catamaran? Is there a specific directory for this kind of service?

New Catamaran owner, haul out question

Thank you for the suggestion. We're still new to the area and haven't connected with many other owners yet. The jump from a monohull to a catamaran has presented some new logistical puzzles. Are there any specific owner groups or marinas in the PNW known for having a community of catamaran sailors?Have you checked with other Lagoon owners in the area to see which yards they've used for haul outs?
