Switching from cat to cruiser

We had a Leopard cat a while back and I loved how steady it felt on the water, though sometimes we felt some slamming. I'm looking at a Tayana with a deep keel and high comfort ratio but more work needs to be done. Still curious how that motion compares to a cat's overall feel. Has anyone made the switch between a cat and a heavy full keel cruiser?

In rougher situations the Leopard may feel like it's slamming and feel a bit rough. The Tatyana on the other hand is much more gentle, it moves a lot, but the movements are much more smooth and nothing is harsh. It all depends on what you need and the conditions you go through.
