We've been digging through a lot of tips and advice, and we finally decided to go for it and buy our first boat,a MiniCat 460! It's a pretty small step, but it feels really exciting. Since we're total beginners to both sailing and forums, we can't wait to kick off this journey towards cruising. I'm wondering if anyone else here has one as well,do you think it's a good choice for starters? I'd really love to hear what you think!

Recall that a fifty-year-old record-chasing vessel was designed for speed rather than toughness. Don't expect it to be flawless. Remember that in the northern hemisphere, hurricane season lasts until Decembre.

I think it should be an okay choice. it's simple to rig and sail which means less time scratching your head and more time on the water learning. Pretty durable too!

The MiniCat 460 is an excellent option for those just starting out, providing both stability and ease of use. It's a fun, easy-to-handle boat that makes learning to sail an enjoyable experience.
